Pádraig Rynne is a name that's been at the forefront of ground breaking projects in Irish and World music over the past decade.
Pádraig's musical vision has lead him to be involved in creating ground breaking projects such as Guidewires, Dán, Triad – a trio with Breton flautists Sylvain Barou and world renowned musician and producer Dónal Lunny and Atlantic I/O - a collaboration between pop and world music.
Pádraig's band NOTIFY is signed to Ropeadope Records and has had chart success with both the debut 2014 release and their 2016 release In Concept.
The debut album was nominated by The Irish Times as one of the top 5 releases in 2014.
Máirín Fahy
Galway's Máirín Fahy was an integral part of Riverdance for more than eight years. Her fiddle playing has been lauded as amazing and unique and, as the featured soloist in Riverdance, she has performed to more than 25 million people worldwide.
Máirín has recorded with Dolores O' Riordan and is featured in the Harrison Ford / Brad Pitt movie, "Devil's Own". "Empire" magazine describes the song as "haunting with a wicked fiddle solo". She has played in Monaco for Prince Rainier and the Royal Family at the Red Cross Ball, in Tokyo for the Prince Emperor and at the Royal Albert Hall in London where she performed for and met Princess Diana at the Princess Trust.
Máirín was a member of "Macalla" the all women's Céilí band and recorded two albums with them. She also features on the fine album "Ceol Ti Neachtain" and played with the highly acclaimed Temple House Céilí Band.
Máirín exceptional voice came to the fore in the Celtic Musical 'Tara' which was performed with the R.T.E. Concert Orchestra featuring well-known actor Patrick Bergin. Máirín was also a founding member of the multi-award winning trad super-group Reeltime and in 1996 received the prestigious award for best female vocalist from the 'Irish American News'.
Máirín is a regular guest with the multi-grammy award winning group the Chieftains and has toured Australia, New Zealand and America with the famous traditional Irish band. She has also performed with the Chieftains and Art Garfunkel in Carnegie Hall.
Without doubt, Máirín is regarded as one of the outstanding fiddle players of her generation.Cillian King
Cillian King is a young singer/songwriter hailing from Limerick City. With a background in traditional Irish music on the concertina, piano and banjo from the age of 6, the self-taught guitarist turned his attention to songwriting in the summer of 2011 and has since gone from strength to strength. He has gained much experience by appearing regularly as the support act for highly successful Limerick folk-rockers, Hermitage Green, from which he has developed a loyal following.
Aoibheann Queally
Aoibheann Queally (Kilmaley) is a graduate of UCC with a BA in Music. She is a member of the group Crag Road, and has developed a strong following as a solo perfomer in the last number of years.
